Impi's work.

Impi's husband was against lace making at first then start to do it
in secret. Impi was forbidden to tell anyone that he was lacing.
With time he learned to not care about people's opinion. He was
one of the first man admitting his hobbie in public.

Impi Emelia Alanko
A room is dedicated to her work in the museum.
She started to lace at the age of 40 because she had to stop
working. She brought a lot to lace technique.

Tarmo Thorstrom is a young lace maker.
He learned to lace with Impi Alanko who was the Master
of Rauma lace. He will be my guide during my stay in Rauma.
